FOSTERING FAITH

Guided by faith, grounded in compassion, and open to all.

Faith can offer strength, comfort, identity, connection, and hope.

For others, faith may feel complicated, painful, or layered because of past wounds, religious trauma, or harmful experiences within faith communities.

Wherever you are in your relationship with faith, your experience matters here.

Healing isn’t just emotional or psychological …it can be deeply spiritual, too.

A Safe, Grace-Centered Approach

My goal is to create a space where you feel respected, supported, and never pressured. Faith integration is always optional, always client-led, and always done with care. You get to decide if, when, and how faith is included in therapy.

Honoring Every Story

While my own Christian faith shapes the compassion, empathy, and grace I bring to this work, I welcome clients of all beliefs, questions, doubts, and backgrounds.

I also understand that some clients come to therapy specifically because of religious harm or spiritual betrayal. If part of your healing involves untangling pain from faith or church experiences, this is a space where that can be explored safely too.

What Faith-Sensitive Therapy Looks Like:

  • A grace-centered lens that emphasizes hope, healing, and restoration

  • Combining evidence-based trauma therapy with a faith-informed perspective

  • Client-led conversations about your relationship with God and faith

  • Exploring how faith influences boundaries, worth, forgiveness, and identity

  • Optional prayer or scripture reflection, if it feels supportive to you

Together, we can gently reflect on how faith may support your healing, or hold space for whatever you’re navigating spiritually…at a pace that honors your nervous system, your story, and your lived experience.

If You’re Seeking Faith-Sensitive Support

Whether faith feels like your anchor, feels complicated, or somewhere in between… you’re welcome here. You deserve a therapeutic space where your emotional, psychological, and spiritual experiences can be honored with care, evidence-based support, and a spirit of compassion and grace.
