Relational Trauma Recovery

Telehealth Therapy in Michigan & Florida

Survivor led care…

I don’t just understand Relational Trauma professionally…

I’ve lived it

…and that shapes the standard of care behind everything we do.

Some of the hardest seasons of my life shaped the mission of this practice.

My lived experience with Relational Trauma, combined with years of experience guiding other survivors, shapes the way I created this practice.

I created the kind of counseling experience I wish I had found:

Specialized, relatable, practical, and willing to go deeper than insight alone.

…and as You’re Worth it grows, I am intentional about choosing clinicians who can carry that standard forward.

More than Talk Therapy

We use somatic, nervous-system, and insight-oriented approaches to help you connect the dots, regulate your responses, rebuild self-trust, challenge old beliefs, and create healthier patterns.

Our work goes beyond talking about what happened.

Relational Trauma can shape the nervous system, the body, and the way you automatically respond to stress and relationships.

What is Relational Trauma?

Relational Trauma develops when relationships that should provide safety, connection, and emotional support instead become a source of hurt, instability, neglect, manipulation, or fear.

…which often begins in childhood

Relational Trauma can come from:

Emotionally Immature Parents & Family Systems

Attachment Wounds

Narcissistic or Abusive Relationships

Emotional Neglect

Unhealthy or unstable relationships

It can leave patterns like:

Codependency

People-pleasing & Perfectionism

Anxiety, Self-doubt & Guilt

Difficulty Setting Boundaries

Feeling like you are ‘walking on eggshells’

&

Repeating Unhealthy Relationship Patterns

The connection isn’t always obvious…

Understanding your Relational Trauma can help connect the dots between what happened then and what keeps happening now.

Specialized Care

You may recognize yourself in one of these experiences, or several.

Relational Trauma often shows up through overlapping patterns rather than one clearly defined problem.
